At Clinicenta we are dedicated to excellence for each and every patient and are delighted to be working in close partnership with East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust and Hertfordshire NHS Trust to support the provision of health care in this community.

Our aim is to deliver high quality, patient-centred care resulting in excellent clinical outcomes. We want to enable you to return to your normal routine as soon as possible and aim to do this through our innovative Enhanced Recovery programme.

If you or your relatives have any questions or concerns regarding your care at the Surgicentre, please contact the Patient Services Advisor, Martin Bernedo, or one of his colleagues who will be happy to address any questions you may have.

Martin is available on 0845 120 2396 between 09.00 and 17.00, Monday to Friday.

We provide specialist orthopaedic care, including hip and knee joint replacement and shoulder joint surgery, day case and short stay general surgery and gynaecology, head and neck and Ophthalmology (eye health) treatment.

Urgent Eye Clinic

The Lister Surgicentre also provides an Urgent Eye Clinic for adult patients only referred by their GP or by the local Accident and Emergency departments. This department specialises in eye emergencies and is not a walk-in clinic. The Urgent Eye Clinic is located on the ground floor of the Surgicentre.

The Urgent Eye Clinic opening times are:
Monday to Friday 08.45 – 19.30
Saturday 08.45 – 12.30
