Helping you to get to Hospital

Helping you get to hospital

The East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust provides a non-emergency transport service (PTS) to help patients to get to hospital. Although this service is not available to everyone you can find out if you are eligible for PTS by phoning 0300 1234050.

There is also a Health Shuttle which offers a door-to-door service for patients and visitors within the Stevenage area, and between the Lister and the QEII hospitals. This services must be booked in advance on 01438 726219. The booking line is available: Monday to Friday 8.15am to 5.15pm.

Eligible patients can claim back transport costs involved in getting to the Lister Surgicentre. Please talk to a member of staff at main reception for help, advice and a leaflet.
